Biography:

Rajeev Khandelwal is an Indian film and television actor. Some of his most notable characters have been Dr. Aamir Ali in the 2008 debut film Aamir and ACP Arvind Mathur who battles his inner demons in Shaitan, the Tinnitus affected DJ from Soundtrack. He also played Vivaan Agasthi in the 2013 thriller, Table No. 21 Khandelwal television roles include Sujal Garewal in Kahin To Hoga and Capt. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat in Left Right Left. Khandelwal has also hosted Sach Ka Saamna. In 2011, Khandelwal became the brand ambassador for the National Geographic Channel's show Supercars.

Khandelwal has mentioned that it was his childhood dream to act. He has earlier worked as a production controller in a Delhi based production house. He had modelled for several brands like LML, Green Label Whisky, Kodak Express and Videocon refrigerators. He appeared in the telefilm Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, produced for Sony.

He made his mark in his feature film debut in Aamir. His movie Table No. 21 was declared an average hit. Khandelwal got rave review for his performance in the movie Shaitan for portraying a character torn between the good and bad in the occupation that is policing in Mumbai.In the movie Soundtrack he was seen essaying the character of DJ Raunak Kaul, a renowned DJ who is affected by Tinnitus and thus losing his hearing while at the peak of his alcohol and drug fueled success. The film takes strains from the life of Beethoven.

His next release was aditya datt's will you marry me? It was not a success at the box office but the second film with Aditya datt Table no. 21 did very well. This film also starred Paresh Rawal and Tena desae.

He was approached for a lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali production's Chenab Gandhi along with Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan but due to conflict between SLB and Director Vibhu Puri film got stalled.

On television, he is best known for playing scorned lover boy Sujal Garewal in Kahin To Hoga. He is also noted for playing ACP Prithviraj in C.I.D., Varun Awasthi, the RAW Intelligence Officer in Time Bomb 9/11 and Captain Rajveer Singh Shikhawat in Left Right Left. Rajeev hosted a game show named Deal Ya No Deal. he hosted all seasons of Sach ka Saamna. and now he is approached for a show MyEndeavour for National Geographic channel where he will drive from Dibrugarh to Pashighat. the episode will be on air on 9 June 2013. his upcoming movies are Rajeev jhaveri's Fever (2013 film) and Remo d'suza's production Crank remake Amar must die co-starring Zarine.
