During a recent interview, Swara Bhaskar spoke on the boycott trend and said, 'There is an atmosphere of fear here. In the industry, one should not get into controversy and even if there is a dispute, don't talk about it, don't even think about it. The actress feels that it was because of such hate campaigns that big-budget films like "Lal Singh Chaddha" and "Raksha Bandhan" could not do well at the box office.
Swara Bhaskar talks about filmmaker Karan Johar and several A-listers celebs being accused of allegedly abetting Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. Swara said, 'Even if they are being attacked, they are not saying anything. You can say a lot about Karan Johar, talking about his films as waste and the issue of nepotism. But your dislike doesn't mean he's a murderer.
Along with this, the actress called the boycott trend paid and an attack on the industry. Swara said, 'Boycott is trend paid, I know this because I also got the offer. People are being given money for this. This is not a normal time for the industry and the industry is under attack. In such a situation, everyone needs to be united.
