As per information, speaking to a media house Aanand L Rai said, "Yes, it is true. Right now we are not making this film. There are technical issues. Factual clarification needs to be given." He further added that it would be wrong to say that Akshay Kumar has left the project. For the time being, it is clear from Aanand L Rai's talk that 'Gorkha' has been shelved for some time but it has also become clear that Akshay has not given up on the project.
